Welfare Refurb for Warehouse

Home | Projects | Welfare Refurb for Warehouse

Project description

We recently completed a project near Chesterfield that involved creating a 360m² enclosed area within a warehouse facility. To achieve this, we installed a 1.5-hour fire-rated jumbo stud partition wall, providing the required separation and safety performance for the new space.

Once the fire-resistant structure was in place, we developed a full suite of welfare facilities and office accommodation within the protected zone, transforming the previously open warehouse into a functional and compliant working environment.

As the refurbishment required a formal change of use, we managed the entire building regulations process, securing full approval for the works on behalf of our client.

This project was delivered as a complete turnkey solution. Norris oversaw every stage—from producing detailed CAD drawings and acting as Principal Contractor under CDM regulations, through to furnishing and final handover of the finished spaces.

Also pictured is Jonny Stirland, our SMSTS-qualified Site Supervisor, whose leadership and coordination were integral to delivering the project on time and within budget.
